Speaker 1:

I got that. Wow, who wants some hands up right now? We got that. Turn it up loud. I know you're wondering how.

Speaker 2:

I got that. Wow, here I go, here I go, coming. I can never stop. I'm a tour the force running. Give me to the top, I don't need an invitation hello everyone hello.

Speaker 3:

I think we're recording our 23rd, 23rd or fourth episode sounds like. I know. So three cocktails in podcast has really been going strong.

Speaker 4:

Yes we are, yeah, I think we are all so happy with how it's. You know, we we're always like you guys. People are actually listening.

Speaker 3:

I continue to get nice messages from people who are connections, of connections, that say, hey, do you remember me? So-and-so shared, I love it. Yeah, I do too. Yeah, if anybody's curious, we get about. I'd say we average 50 or 60 video. You know people to watch the video and another 50, 60, 70 that listen to just the audio version. So, yeah, I think we have a pretty good summer. A lot higher some episodes are higher than that, for sure, so I would just call that more of an average, but yeah well as some of these people have reached out, they're like, oh, I'm catching up or I'm binging.

Speaker 3:

So they've started at the beginning, yeah, and are you know? Working their way forward, which is, yeah, I don't have fun, it is fun, yeah, it's fun. Well, today's episode is kind of a surprise to the other two. They kind of know the gist of it, but I did a lot of research and I'm leading this one, so the right, so the fact that what was that clueless?

Speaker 1:

as to what we're talking about.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know that the NC double-a basketball tournaments are coming up, both the men's and the women's right. Okay, so they pick. So we're recording this. On Wednesday they pick the tournament, you know, like the brackets. Okay, that will be the end of this week, so by the time this podcast goes live, they'll already be playing the tournament for.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so okay game on what was that game on, game on right. So I thought we would do a little bit of final four, you know, final four discussion. All right, just just for informational purposes only. Like I said, they don't have the men's and women's brackets picked yet, but women's, for instance, the top four ranking so far is South Carolina. I was number two. Usc and Stanford are the top four, okay, and I was. State is, you know, close in the top 25, maybe or so? Lsu, lsu, oh, you would ask, ten ish, yeah, not as high as I expected. So not as high as I expected some, and that might not be exact. I'm just trying to recall, as I sure you were gonna get quizzed, I know right, don't ask me these hard questions. Well, okay, I'm the go first. By the way, didn't find the go first, oh, no, no they've not had.

Speaker 4:

This is a volleyball are we gonna actually have to talk about basketball and about these teams? Because I don't know anything.

Speaker 3:

I think you're gonna be lost in this conversation. Now educate you. Yes, I'm just kidding, I'm just given the groundwork here. Okay, so men's, men's top four Houston you con, which I feel like you cons always, always in the usually it's you con, women, I yeah, but you con men are up there usually as well. Produce number three. North Carolina's number four, I was states not bad. Their ranked seven, right, I would. Man, I didn't see them in anywhere, didn't again, didn't see go first in the top 25. So yeah, I do follow this. I am a little bit of a sports nerd, it's not just always baseball, but I saw something interesting where, for the first time in a super, super long time, there are what four schools that have both men's and women's team like in the top 10, yeah, 15, which never usually happens.

Speaker 3:

I know it is cool. Yeah, it'd be. It'd be a fun, a fun thing for a school, you know, to have both of men's and women's at the same time. Be so, yeah, that's for sure. Yeah, okay. So that was just the start. So now we're gonna dive into our own final four. So we're gonna have, we're gonna throw some final four things out there and hopefully have a good conversation between the three of us if we agree, disagree what it is, and that kind of thing. So awesome, right. So I thought the first one would be good was do you know the top four, final four, most popular cocktails? Ooh, oh, okay now. Are we talking real cocktails, like mixed cocktails? Are we talking drinks? Yes, yeah, cocktails first, okay, yeah yeah, top four most popular yep yep most got any guess, martini.

Speaker 3:

It's got to be a classic martini. Martini is not in the top.

Speaker 3:

Ooh, I know right okay, I'm gonna guess I'm gonna throw in the old-fashioned old-fashioned, didn't quite make the top four, but they, I think old-fashioned was about six or seven, so you're getting closer. Margarita, margarita, number one, yeah, oh, margarita's number one. And all three of us love good margarita. Yes, we also love number two. Um, it's got to be vodka tonic, not quite vodka, because the cosmopolitan. Cosmopolitan is number two. Yep, yes. Number three is daiquiri, which I thought was odd because we never drink. We never drink that yeah, I've never seen. I know number four is a gimlet and.

Speaker 3:

I like to look it up what that is. Yeah, you guys probably drink it. Yeah, I would. I, I have actually ordered a gimlet the last couple times I've gone out. Yeah, so a gimlet is gin and lime juice and simple syrup very easy, easy Drink. But yeah, that's number four and then it goes on to the next couple, or Manhattan, the groany, old-fashioned, so that that kind of thing.

Speaker 1:

So I thought that was an interesting list.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah, the daiquiri throws me, though it does. I cannot unless and and even if I'm in 98 degree weather in Mexico, I'm not ordering a daiquiri.

Speaker 4:

Oh, that's totally my drink in Mexico. Oh, is it? Absolutely. I, you guys, I'm not a margarita fan. I don't. I don't like tequila, so um so I am not usually going to order a margarita, but if I go to the Mexican restaurant or if I am in Mexico, I am always drinking. Uh, really.

Speaker 3:

Dacri is rum instead of tequila. Yeah, now I will say I drank my fair share of rum. Uh, in college and post college, everything was rum. It's like the gateway to mix cocktails, because it just tastes like fruit punch. Nothing, yeah, I know.

Speaker 3:

Yeah it's that sweet thing. Yeah, so you asked about drinks in general. I have to look at my notes. So, overall drinks, um, that final four, water, number one, I think that's probably a lot you know sounds about like it should be. Number two surprised me at tea over. Number three, coffee, I thought that was interesting. And then all your pop soda is number four. Soft drinks soft, yeah, soft drinks. Number four. Then it gets into, I think, a beer, you know, wine, cocktails, that kind of stuff is after that.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I thought that was interesting you want to talk about soda specifically and look to those up. This is based on sales. So guess what number one is Coke, coke, coke. Yep. How about number two? Pepsi Diet Coke.

Speaker 1:

Yeah which I thought oh, I thought we okay, all right.

Speaker 3:

I thought Coca-Cola, actually, and then Diet Coke, yes, then Pepsi, then dr Pepper, dr, Peppers. That was interesting. We're helping we're helping the Diet Coke. Yeah, all right. Do you on this? On this idea, do you choose your fast food restaurant or your restaurant Based on whether or not they serve coke or Pepsi products?

Speaker 4:

Uh, I don't go so far as to Like, if I'm looking at a restaurant, I can't make sure that they have it before I decide to go there. But I will say that I am disappointed if I'm there and I look over at the pop machine and I see Pepsi products.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah, now, for instance, taco Bell. This will tell you a lot about my life. Taco Bell serves Pepsi products, taco John's Serves coke products. So if they're within the same google map area, I'm going taco John's, because also potato Olay's also right.

Speaker 4:

I mean taco John's wins all the way around in my book. Great, because it goes to things I agree. Yes, yes.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm a little gray on that one because you know I don't care and we'll drink either. I've seen you drink a mountain dew. I used to drink diet mountain dew but they changed the recipe and then I got over it and you know drink adult drinks like diacoke and diap, Pepsi, um, and I can imagine why. You know coke and diet coke might be higher because McDonald's I mean everybody goes to McDonald's and that's what you have. You know they have coke products. So it makes sense to me. I guess somehow, yes, I, I do. Like a dr Pepper, not not like like that's like a treat sort of thing, kind of a Dessertive something rather because whatever.

Speaker 3:

A diet, dr Pepper seems really sweet to me. Yeah, very yeah. Yep, let's see which way should we go. Um, what about top american foods? Okay, restaurants or just foods in general, you got to give me some qualifiers actual food, and I kind of have two separate ones too. We'll do, you know, like your main, your main food, you know what do you mean? Yeah, main course you'll understand one say can I? Say beef.

Speaker 4:

It's not General. Is yeah, I was general. Is that, yeah, I would say hamburgers, hamburger is number one, yep, yep, then it goes on to.

Speaker 3:

Two is pizza. Hmm, that's three hot dogs, which, I suppose, and four fried chicken. Now, what kind of category is this? This seems very, yeah, I know. Well, is this like food? Yes, I should have qualified this at the beginning. You understand, this is just stuff that comes up on the google's. Sometimes I have actual fact, sometimes it might just be, you know, joe Smith's opinion. You just never know. I'll try to tell you when this is really factual and when it isn't okay, yeah so then there's, there's another list I found interesting.

Speaker 3:

That wasn't you know. I saw the other, you know, top top foods, right, american foods, and it was totally different and I decided the difference was it's the actual, you know food, not the main dish. So the other one I saw, still burger number one, french fries is number two. I think that makes sense. Yeah, mashed potatoes. Burger three yeah, yeah, mashed potatoes. Number three, grilled cheese, number four. That's the one I thought was Very strange and it was so high in a list. So so we've got hamburger, french fries, mashed potatoes, grilled cheese. I'm thinking this is for the under 12 sets. Where was chicken nuggets? That could be. Yes, they pulled, all of you know, like the elementary school kids, yeah, elementary school kids because they won't eat. Yeah, half the other stuff. But then again they didn't pick hot dogs, which they eat a lot of hot dogs. When was the last time you guys had a hot talk? What was the situation?

Speaker 4:

Oh boy.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the only would have to be at a, at a baseball game. I probably and I bet you I know it wasn't last year, it has to have been a couple years ago that I ordered a hot dog. Yeah, we, I never have them at home. I like a grilled hot dog, but the only time I ever eat him is like if we're tailgating at a football game, somebody on may We'll be grilling and we might have a variety of stuff and might include hot dogs.

Speaker 3:

I only time I know, the last time I had one, I was out at my brother's house and he was grilling. Because this is the only time I I would like one, if I can go to the person grilling and saying I want it burnt, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I've become my mother.

Speaker 3:

It used to so gross me out that she would eat things that had a char on them. And now I know why it's because the texture is nasty, and so if you don't get a good crispy crust on a hot dog, it just tastes like hot mush. Hmm, hmm, yeah. So I like it when it's, I like it when it's kind of bubbly, and like you know me, just about ready.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have no idea. When last time was, I had a hot dog because it's not my go-to when I go to a ball game, because there's such good food at Target field. Oh yeah, exactly yeah, target field is like going out to dinner.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we wouldn't have to settle for a hot dog. No, I go get soul bowl, get fried plantains and jerk chicken. Those little, those sliders.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, right cow sliders. Oh my god, so good. Yeah, anybody go into a minnesota twins game. You have to go get the red cow sliders Best thing at target field.

Speaker 3:

No, it's up there. It's up there. Okay, what's up there? What do you think it's best thing we do? Can we do a top four of the best foods to get at target field? There you go. You go far. What is number one? All right, just for the masses.

Speaker 3:

I'll agree with kitty and go with the red cow sliders. There's two of them. They're about this big Um, it's made with a 60 40 blend, so they're really fatty. They've got good, good crispy bacon on them. Delicious, come with bag of chips. I think they come with chips. Yes, they come with chips. Um, I also like there's Senior frogs. Um, it's, it's a carnitas bowl, basically, so you can get like Mexican food at the at the ballpark, Really good. I will say that in the last two years they've put some really cool pop-ups there and I do love the whole. Soul is the name of it. It's usually between sections 113 and 114 on the main concourse. It's jerk chicken fried plantains. It's a bowl. It's so good it's like you know real food, yeah, and then I'm sure that they're real food.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm sure that there were people that would say the because how do you pronounce it, kitty? The cosmetic, cosmetic, cosmetic. Because from our checks, comar checks, thank you, yeah they do brats they do brats with stuff like that, so those would probably be. Those would be the top four there. You go Well and mini donuts.

Speaker 3:

Always got to have some mini donuts, yeah, for sure, Behind Brightfield main concourse, for sure. I'm looking at my list. Which way should we go next? Oh, I found a funny one, the best words, literally. How about this? And we'll have more to add. So this list had Lolli gag as number one. Number two kerfuffle. Oh yeah, we like our kerfuffle, yes, yes. Number three Nincompoop.

Speaker 4:

Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker 3:

Right, I know it's a good one. And number four is one of my favorites caddywampus. I actually use that caddywampus quite a bit. I always say caddywampus, not caddywampus, okay. Also, is it Jerry rig or Jimmy rig? Jerry Jerry, 100%, yeah, yeah. Every once in a while somebody will say, oh, did you Jimmy rig? That I'm like what. No, yeah, there were some other funnies like bamboozle and you know.

Speaker 4:

I have a couple. I have a couple of fun ones to add you do Yep Bumbershoot.

Speaker 3:

What is that? What is that? Oh, what Bumbershoot Interesting. Yeah, my girl's grown up, called that a rain, bella, don't forget the rain, bella, mom.

Speaker 4:

And then Northland, and then my mother-in-law used to say, oh Piffle, silly and stupid. You say oh Piffle, piffle, that's a funny one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that is a good one. That is a funny one. Bamboozled I like shenanigans. Shenanigans is a good one. Yeah, yeah. What is kerfuffle? Is that just a?

Speaker 4:

it's like a little hiccup or something A mixup I always thought of.

Speaker 3:

It Is a kerfuffle, a precursor to a brew-ha-ha. Oh, brew-ha-ha, that's a good one. I think that a kerfuffle could actually be.

Speaker 4:

You know the entry to a kerfuffle it could be, and, and the kerfuffle can make you discombobulated.

Speaker 3:

Sure that was on the list as well. Yes, oh my gosh. You know, I think maybe our new thing we'll just start these lists on I don't know where you put them so anybody watches but we'll have Kitty's Top, you know, top 10, whatever. We can pin a post on Facebook where you can add your favorite words. We'll do that. Yes, can we have a list of Amy's most hated words? Yes, we could do those too. Do you have a quick four? Yeah, first of all, they all are very similar in genre, starting with number one moist bad word, ointment, sav. Those are three bad words. I do not like the word dumpling, dumpling. What's so wrong about dumpling? It sounds dumpy. Well it is. I mean, I didn't say dumpling. Yeah, dumplings aren't good, so they deserve a yucky word, a name.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 3:

I love dumplings. Doe balls yeah, I call them snot balls. They're yucky.

Speaker 4:

Well, you haven't had my dumplings. I make good dumplings. Check it out. Dumplings, you guys.

Speaker 3:

It's going to be moist. If it's going to be moist, it's going to be good.

Speaker 4:

If dumplings are so moist, they're not done yet.

Speaker 3:

Well, good to know, good to know. That's an o for two in my book right there. Yeah, for sure. If I have to ask what the status of your dumplings are, I'm out For sure. No, I think there'd be a lot better things to have than dumplings, that's for sure. Okay, how about let's go to? These are actual things. So per billboardcom, right? Okay, now I know what the top, you know musical groups are. Some groups. We're looking at groups First, groups of all time, or this year Of all time. Okay, I know, I know the number one, I know Go ahead.

Speaker 4:

Journey.

Speaker 3:

Nope.

Speaker 4:

Are you going to tell me is it the Beatles? Yes, yes.

Speaker 3:

So that's why I knew you weren't going to like this, because I knew that's what it was. That's why I went like this to begin with. It's the Beatles. Number one is the Beatles, yeah, I would say, of all time are. Is you two on there? Down a ways, down, quite a ways, yeah, but it does make the top, I think, top 100. So I looked at the top. Really, I don't know, I don't know all of them, don't test me on all of them. Who would be number two? Yeah, pretty big. Yeah, beach Boys, no Beatles. Oh, oh yeah, number two Michael Jackson. Well, that's a person we're going to. We're going to get there's another list for that Queen. I thought queen would be a lot higher than it is.

Speaker 3:

They weren't around very long, though, were they? That's the problem they. They were hot and we still think they're awesome, but they just weren't. Yeah, didn't have longevity Long, jeb, yeah, yeah. Groups there's got to be country groups in there. Was there country groups?

Speaker 4:

No, no, these are all rock, you guys. Who is Mick Jagger? What's the band? Rolling Stones is number two yeah. Rolling.

Speaker 3:

Stones, so I'll give you the third one, because I had never found it. It's Chicago which I thought was interesting, and then the Eagles, and so that's that, but yeah, hey, where's Wood?

Speaker 3:

Mac, it was on the list, I can't remember what number, but it was pretty high. You know, maybe top 25, I would say no, as far as groups, certainly towards the top. You know the problem with the list. They had the people mixed in with it too. Oh, that makes sense, yeah, so then for male artist, you know you said what Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson he's about. He's number two. You know who? Number one is Elvis. He's about number four. Three to four Neil Diamond, elton John. Elton John is number one, neil Diamond, I'm sure maybe that, but I don't know what number. So we got Elton John, michael Jackson, elvis. Stevie Wonder is at the top, which that one surprised me a little bit, but now he, I think he's written a lot of songs. Has any, hasn't he also written a lot of songs? Probably why they call him success. You know, successful, yeah, yeah, and longevity I suppose and longevity.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay, yep, okay.

Speaker 3:

So how about the females? Well, taylor Swift, she's not up there. This would be, like I said, you have to remember, this is over time. So she, you know the fact that. Go ahead.

Speaker 3:

I would say Whitney Houston Whitney Houston's on the list. Barbara Streisand she was close, not in the top four, though. Celine Celine was very close to the top, but not the top four. Yeah, this is an interesting list in my opinion, but like her billboard right up there, but not the top. Yeah, I was kind of surprised at this one and, like I said, I think Beyonce and Taylor Swift in today would definitely be the top couple, but again, this is for all time. Okay, any country artists? Again, no, okay, so let's see, we hit, I Would. When did they start tracking that? I don't know? Pro, old, old enough, I mean far enough back where you know like the Supremes made the top hundred and you know what I mean. So old enough that you know it's a big, a big list and goes back quite a way. So I'll just tell you number one Madonna. So that's all right. Yeah, okay, donna to Mariah Carey and three Janet Jackson.

Speaker 1:

How is?

Speaker 3:

Janet Jackson up there, I don't know, but higher than Taylor Swift and Beyonce, which is interesting to me. Yeah, I'm gonna have to check your sources. I know, right, a letter. I Need to call Casey Kasem, I think. So you call it, but see if he answers you.

Speaker 4:

Yes, a longer period of time, I guess. And I mean she wrote and she recorded and she had a lot of hits, yeah, so yeah.

Speaker 3:

And then there was that. You know what they call it that costume, kerr, fuffle, her fuffle. Yes, wardrobe malfunction, wardrobe malfunction. That's what I was trying to get to. Yeah, whatever. That would have just been today. I feel like that would have just been yeah, whatever, yeah, right pretty much, yeah, okay, how about?

Speaker 3:

what should we talk about next? You want to go right to actors and actresses. Yes, please, okay, this one, I do have a difference. There's, you know, a list. It came From the 20 best actresses from sources across the web that's literally what it was called so credible one that's more classic, and then I also have another list that's contemporary, so they're totally separate. Okay, how about the classic ones? Got any ideas? Who the top four there are?

Speaker 1:

Class.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if this is Is Wait a minute? Actor or actress, actresses, so female actors. Okay, I don't know if she would be considered classic or if she'd be considered contemporary, but I'm gonna say Meryl Streep, that's funny. You say that because she comes in number four and I thought it was odd that, still being alive, that they consider her Classic, you know, because she doesn't. You know what I mean. So, like over all time they she comes in about number four, so that's basically, what you're saying, then, is that we need to go back further.

Speaker 4:

you need to go back further, yeah we need some dead people.

Speaker 3:

So I'm not up on my old black and white type of movies, but I'm thinking people like Can I make? Can I say more than one, or is this like kitty, you want to like jump it? Should I just say one? Okay, okay, is it people like Betty Davis and Joan Crawford? Betty Davis is number two. Whoo, audrey, okay, audrey Hepburn, not on the list, but very close. Okay, oh, um, catherine Hepburn, catherine, number one yeah number three just isn't really on.

Speaker 3:

Well, I'm gonna tell you who it is Ingrid Bergman. Ingrid Bergman is number three, so I thought that was interesting, because wasn't she in Casablanca correct? Isn't that who? That is no yes. Ingrid, yes, ingrid Bergman, regardless, she's just. I don't know what she was ever in. You know what I mean. So to be so high, that surprised me. So I think so.

Speaker 3:

Well, I think you know we're also, I think, between music and and Movies. People who are really into music and movies have a little bit more of an international yes Pool to choose from, right, you know, so they. So, if that's really your thing, you know a bunch of actors that aren't just American. Yeah, so I could see where she could maybe be up there. Yeah, yep, so that was interesting. How about contemporary? Contemporary? Well, I mean our Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock, like one and two, are they tied? Well, our Number one girl, sandra Bullock, is number one.

Speaker 3:

Really, yes, melissa that's gotta be like popular, popular, yes, popular Contemporary actresses. Yes, I did not make the list very high. I Mean I'm sure she's on the list somewhere, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Reese Witherspoon Nope.

Speaker 3:

Not in the you do kind of Julia Roberts. She is about number eight, which surprised me again. Yep, yeah, well, she really hasn't done a ton of films lately. No, I agree. Yeah, yep, sandra Bullock um, there are some newbies that I think. I mean they're not really new but I think they're really good, like the Jessica Chastain yeah, probably not on this list.

Speaker 3:

This list is an interesting one. Hmm, who's who does a lot of? What do people go see? Oh, hillary Swank, oh, nope, you want me to leave it. This one, I think, is really interesting.

Speaker 3:

I get where you're going with some of those that probably are very hot at the moment, but the list is Sandra Bullock, jamie Curtis, jennifer Anderson, sally Field is about five. Halle Berry, scarlett Johansson that's the one that I feel like is young and really I mean they say she may be, I think she's 40. I don't think she's that young, well, younger than Meryl Streep and Jamie Lee Curtis. You know what I mean. Others on this. I'm just saying she's getting into where I think she's maybe even made the most money, she gets paid the most. You know all sorts of that kind of thing where she's going to be coming to the top of the list, probably Out of that list. I love her, but she does not deserve to be on that list. Jennifer Aniston yeah, you think because of her acting. Yes, that's strictly, I think, because of her acting, her choice of parts that she's had. They're all of the same genre. I don't think that we've seen Jennifer Aniston shock us in her ability to transform on screen.

Speaker 4:

When I think about transforming and just rocking roles. Charlize Theron oh yes. Oh, yeah, and she was fairly high on the list as well, oh my gosh. And of course, meryl Streep. I mean, she is a master. It's amazing how she can master accents and yeah very cool.

Speaker 3:

I often try and think who are every generation's kind of Meryl Streep? And so that next younger group like in my mind it's like 45 to 60-ish because Meryl's older than that, I think. Anytime she's in a film I'm really intrigued by the film is Kate Blanchett. I think she can do both comedy and serious stuff and I think that you're not sitting watching Kate Blanchett. I kind of think that about Kate Winslet too. I really like her and she takes some pretty bold choices, I think, and she does not play the Hollywood I'm losing weight trick.

Speaker 3:

She's like no, yeah, so I really like her. Yeah, I agree, those are some good ones. Yep, yep. Okay, how about the men? We're going classic first. Well, this is interesting and I feel like there could be a conversation for another time on the difference between what we think of women classic and contemporary and men classic and contemporary, because there are some older guys in the. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

I was thinking let's start with films versus yeah.

Speaker 3:

So there are no, you know, like no classic actors in this list. And this was literally the same website looking at the same Interesting. So no Humphrey Bogart, no, no. Who's the guy that they always compare Tom Hanks to? Oh, I don't know who. That is A really likable guy, man that did a bunch of old movies. Who was in the Christmas one? Oh, Miracle on 34th Street. Who's in that? No, not that one. Were the guys were the actors. It's a wonderful life.

Speaker 4:

Yes, jimmy.

Speaker 3:

Stewart, jimmy Stewart. Yeah, no, sorry, okay, none of them are on the list. All right. It's got to be. It's got to be Dinearow.

Speaker 4:

Well, Tom Hanks has to be on there. No, that one shocked me. No I know I can't believe it.

Speaker 3:

Probably somebody said Leonardo DiCaprio, yep, yep, I know no Leonardo DiCaprio. Um. Robert DeNiro, here's one. Al Pacino oh yeah, yep, I could see that From all the Godfathers and all that. Probably Then Denzel Washington oh yeah, I'm good with that. I'm down with that, I'm down with. Denzel. So then the contemporary one was interesting because Leonardo DiCaprio also made that, denzel Washington also made that. So then there's two more. Who do you suppose? The top, brad Pitt. Other two Brad Pitt, yep, tom Hanks. And no, surprisingly no.

Speaker 4:

Anthony Hopkins.

Speaker 3:

That would have been one of my choices, but nope, it is Robert Downey Jr. He has kind of done some pretty cool stuff. Yeah, he does, yeah. So what was? Really interesting over a long time as well. You know, what is really interesting is this you're right, they're just kind of blend together, Because where's the Robert Redford, Where's the Paul Newman, Where's you know there?

Speaker 3:

are some really amazing classic actors. You guys, I am becoming more and more like my mother every single day, in that I cannot remember these people's names. I know, but you know honestly, al Pacino and Robert De Niro would not have been my top. You know what I mean, but for me it would have been, you know. Would you just say, see, I mean, I can't remember from 30 seconds ago. Short your memory loss. Quite a loss.

Speaker 4:

Okay, we're all in the same boat you guys.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, that's why we have each other.

Speaker 4:

And it's also so. What I love about this conversation is that none of us are Googling right now, because I feel like every time, you know, if Bill and I go to dinner, actually we miss having Alexa. We don't have Alexa in the kitchen anymore. We'd be sitting there having dinner or chatting or whatever, and we'd be like, oh, who's oh, is so-and-so still alive? Oh, who did that? And then we just ask Alexa or Google, and I love that that we have information at our fingertips. It's also fun to have conversations like this, where we truly just rely on our memory and you know, or jogging someone else's memory, to come up with the answer.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, remember when we used to do the and we talked about this on another podcast when we used to, you know, put all our hot guys, you know, in a bracket that we'd vote, you know whatever, but Robert Redford is who is trying to think of? Robert Redford actually won one of them. Yes, oh, that's right. And who else has won? Brad Pitt always gets to the end somehow. I think Lenny Kravitz did well one year.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, lenny Kravitz does that in that bracket. Yes, I think Josh Jamal won one. Yes, yeah. So, it's in there.

Speaker 4:

That's usually what we do during March, madness, we do our own brackets.

Speaker 3:

Right, we make our own brackets. See who wins. Yeah, that's right. Oh, funny. Well, I hope this has been an enjoyable, really fun, little lighter than we do sometimes, but yeah, thank you. Stacey, you're welcome. Yeah, some interesting things.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have a. I have a shot to share. Woo, what is it? So some somebody at work turned me on to this. I don't think I've shared this here yet, but a really great thing to check out. On Netflix oh my gosh, I hope I didn't just say this last week or two weeks ago. The documentary on the making of we Are the World oh, I watched that it's all good, yes, yeah, so One. I'm so glad that somebody had the Thought to document making that at all. Yeah, so what year was it?

Speaker 3:

85, something 84, 85 somewhere around there.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so mid 80s, and just the whole Organization and orchestration of how they were gonna make that happen. And it happened over the course of a night. They worked all the way through the night and they left, you know, early in the morning. Once it was in the can, but just seeing all of the different celebrities come in and out and the ones who struggled with it and the ones who were like no, I'm out, the little segment with Bob Dylan where, where they were trying to get him to get his little section in and he just looked so lost. You guys check it out, it is so good.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I'm gonna key off of that. As long as we're talking documentaries, I watched of the same era, the supermodels documentary, and it follows Christie Turlington, cindy Crawford, naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. Now, okay, amazing, just all. I mean, everybody knew who they were. People still recognizes their faces. But to think about how they changed the course of modeling and to what modeling was when they first started and how they're they were the first celebrity models and how they it was.

Speaker 3:

It was so good and not. It's not a fluff piece, man, they talk about you know a lot of the crap, especially with Naomi Campbell and how it was Christie Turlington and Cindy Crawford Saying we're not doing it without her. You want us, you want us. She's coming too, because you know, and in that era there there weren't black models on the cover of magazines and in walkway, you know, on big Runway shows. So that is another awesome one and it's done in part.

Speaker 3:

So I think it's I don't know if six, maybe six Episodes, but that is so good. What is it on? I think it's on. Let me just googled it real quick. I think it is on when to watch one moment. Is it called supermodel, the supermodels? Yes, apple TV, I Think, hmm, which I just? I just gave that up, but I did watch that Cool. Yeah, that's really, really, really good. And it's not. It's for people our age who know these women, but anybody who has any interest in fashion at all. Or if you want to talk about influencers and and Social media, these are the women who set the stage. Yeah, or everything that has happened since then.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and they're so smart about how they ran their businesses and how they turned themselves into a brand. Yeah you'd love it from that standpoint.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, modeling is not just Looking beautiful. You know, have being blessed with this beautiful Body and face and then just walking out on the stage. It is a business and it is brand-building. I will put that into my Apple Q. I will, oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, super interesting, yeah, good, awesome All right. I think that ends our episode for today. Right, sound good.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yes, we'll be back next week. We will. I don't know what we're gonna talk about. I like this approach. It's very spontaneous and, and you know what, regardless of whether or not those sources are, or if people agree with the sources, it just creates fun conversation. I thought it was.

Speaker 3:

Because we don't agree.

Speaker 4:

So yeah, no.

Speaker 3:

Nope, dumpling debate 23. The great number of debate, the dumpling debate. I think that's what the title of this one might be, you know, yeah.

Speaker 4:

All right, you guys will see you next week. See you.

Speaker 2:

I'm about to start a celebration. Let me in brought a good time for some friends. Turn it up loud.
